NTNU-G

About This Course

This course is designed for employees at NTNU and SINTEF who will work with Hydrogen fluoride (HF) themselves, or otherwise come into contact with HF.

You may be a manager, HSE-coordinator or a Safety Delegate or other employee who work with HF. It may be that you work "alongside" colleagues who handle HF, and must have the knowledge to assist if something happens.

When dealing with HF, the degree of risk of injury will depend on the concentrations and amounts of HF you work with. This course describes general characteristics and health effects of HF, often based on worst-case situations.

Prerequisites

Participants must know about the HSE-system at their workplace and basic laws and regulations relevant for working in a laboratory with hydrogen fluoride.
